1. What is Limba-Sprachen?

Limba-Sprachen is a family-run language school in the centre of Düsseldorf. We offer high-quality and professional language lessons with experienced teachers and ensure fast progress.

2. Which languages can I learn?

We offer courses in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. We are planning to offer more languages in the future.

3. What type of courses do you offer?

You can pick between three different formats: group courses, one-on-one lessons and partner lessons. Our group courses are small with a maximum of 8 participants to ensure that the trainer can focus on each student individually. You can learn with a friend in our partner courses, it's just important that you both have the same level in the language. In our one-on-one courses the teacher can focus on the student entirely. In this format we can also integrate specific vocabulary and individual aspects. All our courses are booked in a package of 10 hours.

4. How do I find the right course?

It's best to arrange an appointment and meet in the school so that we can talk about everything in detail and find the perfect course

5. How can I get more information?

You can always send us an email or phone us and we'll answer all your questions, or we just arrange an appointment to talk about everything

6. How big are the groups?

It's really important to have enough speaking time in each lesson, that's why we have a maximum of 8 participants in each group.

7. Is it possible to change courses?

We always try to find the right course for you at the beginning. If that doesn't work we can talk to your teacher and find an alternative course.

8. Who are the teachers?

Our teachers are native speakers and experienced language trainers who love their job. We are a small team, which means that we all know each other really well and in most cases have done so for years. We are one team and proud of it.

9. Who is the contact person?

You can always reach us on 0211-92416416 and via email. The people responsible are Kiki, Matt and Franzi, but all our teachers can answer your questions.

10. Are there any hidden costs?

We love transparency, so you won't find any hidden costs or random subscription traps. You just buy your package of hours and everything is included in that - teacher, material paper, water and sometimes even some chocolate.

11. Can I suggest topics in class?

It's absolutely no problem to voice all your wishes in one-on-one classes, because we can prepare individually tailored lessons. In our group lessons however we aim to prepare lessons that are helpful for everyone and that cover everything you need per level.

12. I need English fo my job. Can you help?

Of course! Not only are our teachers native speakers and certified teachers, but they also have years of experience in teaching Business English. We can cover everything: applications, telephone language, negotiations, legal English or contracts.

13. What is the monthly speaking corner?

Once a month you can practice your English for free. We offer a speaking corner at Mayersche on every third Tuesday of the month at 6.30pm. It's free, it's fun and it'll help you build new vocabulary - what's not to like?

14. Do you offer any other events?

Language is so much more than just learning grammar and vocab. Language is culture, living together, laughing together and discussing matters and for that reason we offer regular events. In the past we had open debates, film evenings, visits to Düsseldorf theatre, board game evenings and parties. Find our more here: Events
